Our core commitment is advancing gender equality within the publishing sector.
We will advocate for equal opportunities, fair compensation, work-life balance and career progression for women in publishing.
We will collaborate closely with publishers, industry organisations, academic institutions and all relevant stakeholders to raise awareness about gender disparities and to encourage positive changes that place gender equality at the forefront of decision-making processes.
We foster a sense of community among women working in all areas of publishing, including books, magazines, online and academic publishing.
We want to achieve this through regular meet-ups, workshops and online platforms that facilitate connections, encouraging women to uplift and support one another.
This sense of community is integral to our broader goal of promoting collaboration and solidarity within the industry in Wales and on the global stage.
We actively seek out and amplify the voices of underrepresented women and new voices in the publishing sector.
We strive to challenge epistemic injustice and are staunchly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, elevating the work of all women who are underrepresented and marginalised within the publishing sector.
We actively collaborate with publishers, universities, social enterprises, grassroots organisations and literary organisations to champion diverse narratives and perspectives in Welsh literature.
